Children's Privacy
Last updated 9 October 2026. Piggle is for kids aged 5 to 13, but a parent is always in charge. Only a parent can create a Piggle account and add a kid, and kids never sign up themselves.
What Piggle keeps about each kid
- A first name and birth year.
- A picture from Piggle's own set.
- A PIN, stored scrambled.
- Their jars, jobs, invoices, goals and notes.
- Job photos they add as proof, deleted automatically after 14 days.
That is all. Piggle never asks for a kid's surname, full date of birth, school, address, email or phone number.
What kids can and cannot do
- Kids sign in with their PIN on a family device a parent has set up.
- Kids cannot chat, add friends or message anyone outside their family.
- Kids never see ads, and there is nothing for them to buy.
- Kids never receive email from Piggle. Emails go only to parents.
- No tracking or advertising tools run in the Piggle app.
What parents can do
- See everything Piggle keeps about their kids.
- Change or remove a kid's details at any time.
- Download the family's data, or delete the family, from Settings.
- Ask us anything at hello@piggle.com.au.
The rules we follow
Piggle follows the Australian Privacy Principles. Australia is also writing a Children's Online Privacy Code, which is due by December 2026. Piggle is built with the draft code in mind, and we will update Piggle and this page when the final code is published.
For the full detail, read our Privacy Policy.
